This specially formulated crème is to be applied in the evening to revitalize and nourish the skin. It contains higher levels of emollient to moisturize the skin.
The addition of Alpha Hydroxy Acids removes dead skin cells allowing the AHA to begin a powerful process of skin revitalization.
The purpose of Lanolin in crèmes and lotions is to provide an invisible barrier that inhibits moisture loss from the skin. When moisture is retained in the skin, it reduces the appearance of dry skin lines. The active ingredients in Alpine Silk products are Lanolin (which provides an excellent barrier against moisture loss), Vitamin E (which helps neutralize the effects of ultraviolet light and free radicals in the skin), and Collagen (a natural occurring substance in the skin which, together with elastin, enables the skin to remain supple and firm).
